Soil water suction samplers, also known as porous pot samplers, soil water samplers, soil suction samplers or suction lysimeters are used to extract samples of soil water for subsequent laboratory analysis.
The instrument is buried at the desired sampling depth and remains in-situ as long as soil water samples are required.
The design has been fine-tuned over 3 decades and now constitutes an optimal combination of high quality and low price. The porous ceramic probe tips and the ABS plastic body are manufactured in the UK to exacting standards, and assembled by hand in our workshop in Bedfordshire.
